The Teacher's Gift

In morning's hush, before the dawn,
A teacher rises, stretches, yawns.
With heart and mind, she does prepare,
To give her students tender care.

She leaves her home, her dreams, her rest,
With every lesson, gives her best.
Each child she sees, a world anew,
A future bright, a sky of blue.

She sacrifices time and ease,
To plant the seeds of knowledge, please.
Her evenings spent in graded scrolls,
Her weekends filled with learning goals.

She sees the spark in each young eye,
And fans the flames that reach the sky.
Though weary bones and tired eyes,
She lifts them up, she helps them rise.

For every tear and every doubt,
She offers hope, dispels the drought.
Her dreams, they wait, her time deferred,
For every child's voice is heard.

She knows the cost, the price she pays,
Yet in their growth, her spirit sways.
For every sacrifice she makes,
A brighter world, her love creates.

In morning's hush, before the dawn,
A teacher rises, stretches, yawns.
With heart and mind, she does prepare,
To give her students all her care.
